This does not look fun.
You’re right.
It sucks.
Whether this is your first time studying for the bar exam or (like it was for me) your fifth (!), you NEED this to be your last.
But let’s get something out of the way...
What passing the bar exam is NOT about:
- Reading thousands of pages of study materials provided by a bar study course.
- Reading and memorizing 20-page-plus MEE subject matter outlines over and over again (if you can even find any THAT short!).
- Reading and memorizing 20-page–plus MBE subject matter outlines over and over again (if you can even find any THAT short!).
- Making, reading, and memorizing flash cards for any period of time.
- Completing hundreds of MEE practice essays, timed or untimed.
- Completing tens of Multistate Performance Tests (MPTs), timed or untimed.
- Studying the few hundred recent MBE multiple choice questions you can find.
- Studying based on “your unique learning style”. (LOL, seriously?!)
(YES, I REALIZE THIS GOES AGAINST MUCH OF WHAT YOU MAY HAVE BEEN TOLD BY WELL-MEANING PROFESSORS, BAR EXAM STUDY COURSES, CLASSMATES, REDDIT, ETC.)
So what IS passing the bar exam all about?
It’s about learning the CORRECT study strategies based on how the exam is scored and based on how to learn the material regardless of your learning style, and then using the BEST resources to maximize your learning in the most efficient way.
Interested? Let me tell you more...
Imagine your future...
Maybe you’re taking the bar to practice in a high-paying, high-flying area of law.
Maybe you’re taking the bar to please your parents.
Maybe you’re taking the bar because “that’s just what’s done” by others who graduate from law school.
But when you PASS the bar, even if you have no clue what you will do in the future to make money, you will have fewer limitations on what you can actively choose as a career. Also, new career opportunities may come to you passively because those in your network know you’ve reached an extremely difficult professional achievement, and that work ethic is generalizable to other skill sets and careers.
What will you do with your massive power, wealth, and fame? First, rent a huge U-Haul for your ego lol!
Now come back to reality, and let me get you ready to pass this monster...
